In the 1990s I was an early pioneer of online marketing and early website development. Helping clients to take those first tentative steps into the online arena and email marketing communications. This lead to the development of one of Norwich’s first digital agencies.
Over the subsequent 20+ years I have been involved in almost all aspects of digital development working locally, nationally and internationally. From developing our own CMS from scratch in the early 2000s to new websites, CRMs, email and digital marketing, ecommerce websites, internal process auditing and automation and software integration. Often I was developing digital solutions and business tools that had not been used previously.
I have worked in a wide variety of sectors with hundreds of businesses as both an Agency owner and as a client. With me there’s no pomp or pretence, just straight-talking, commercially accountable advice to establish a clear pathway to protect and enhance your digital ecosystems.
I can provide guidance for you to do the work internally, manage your project alongside existing suppliers or I can deliver a full-service implementation using my own hand-picked professionals for a fraction of the expected cost.
In 2013 I conceived the idea of developing an online website portal to help people aged over 50 find work. I called it No Desire To Retire. From concept to reality, developing a complex fully automated website, it’s a project that I am particularly proud of that went on to attract national recognition, government contracts and support and became the largest portal of its kind with over 28,000 members in its first 3 years. This project lead me to work as a consultant alongside government ministers as a national older worker champion and consultant. The website went on to help hundreds of people find work where previously they had little or no support.
The site was taken over by new owners in 2018 and continues its work championing the cause of older workers.
